Just a few weeks before the by-elections in Telangana region, Telangana Rashtra Samiti is facing dissidence and internal bickering in Nizamabad district.
Several TRS leaders at the grass root level resigned from the party on Saturday in protest the dictatorial attitude of partys assembly constituency in-charge and senior leader A.S.Poshetty. They gave an ultimatum to the party chief K Chandrasekhar Rao to remove Poshetty from the key Assembly in-charge post. The leaders sent their letter to the party president K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday.
Senior TRS leaders Niranjan Singh, Koneru Sai Kumar, Siraboyina Suresh Yadav, Ade Praveen, and Erla Sekhar, said that they have been working for TRS from its inception. There was no recognition for the genuine leaders and cadre in the party, they alleged. We have been facing police cases and were kept in lock-ups several times, but party leadership has failed to recognise us, they lamented. We will continue our fight for Telangana state, but not join other political parties, they said.
