Praja Rajyam Party convenor and former minister Tammineni Sitaram is in a dilemma: whether to go back to the Telugu Desam Party and the Congress.
Sources say a section of leaders from Srikakulam including Gorle Haribabu Naidu and Kalamata Mohan Rao are bringing pressure on Tammineni to join the Congress. Minister for Revenue Dharmana Prasada Rao is playing a key role in wooing Tammineni into the Congress in view of local elections.
On the other hand, others like Kambala Jogulu and Kala Venkat Rao, who earlier defected from the TDP into the PRP, are planning to come back into the TDP and are also pressurising Tammineni to join them. They even reportedly patched up with former MP K Yerran Naidu, who was responsible for their defection into the PRP. Things are expected to take a turn very soon.
