With more and more NRIs making their presence felt strongly in the US area and that too, our Telugus leading the list of percentage, efforts have been on to bridge the gap between the cultures. With this, came NRI organizations like TANA.
However, it now looks like the ideology for setting up such an entity is not getting solved. While sources say that TANA is predominantly owned by the Kamma community, the ATA organization is filled major with the Reddy clan. Last but not the least, there is Silicon Andhra set up by the Brahmin community.
It is now heard that even the Raju community is said to have decided to have a group of their own. Despite the groups claiming that it Telugus must be brought under a universal banner, many say that the organizers are giving a caste flavor and really wonder how can the Telugus be called united if they keep dividing themselves so many times and that too on caste.
The problem is coming with the organizers those are pulling in only their community people to sit in key positions. Hence the caste tags are being hooked
