Hyderabad: TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao is understood to have met NCP leader Sharad Pawar and discussed with him about the emerging political scenario both in the state and at the national level.
KCR, who quietly disappeared from the state on Wednesday, is said to have returned to Hyderabad on Thursday evening. He is also understood to have expressed his willingness to support Pawar as prime ministerial candidate. Rao is said to have given a detailed brief about the winning chances of the grand alliance in the state and his assessment of the prospects of all the political parties.
Both of them are said to have discussed the pros and cons of taking support from other parties including PRP. What is interesting is that KCR had chosen to fly to Mumbai without informing any of the party senior leaders. When contacted the senior leaders pleaded ignorance of KCRs Mumbai visit.
