Wherever Sekhar Kammula’s films have an impact those areas got good collections for his new movie ‘Life Is Beautiful’. Cities like Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada have shown good opening collections. Same is the case with overseas. But then, mixed talk impact also fell on the film.

Since Vinayaka Chavithi was around and there was no strong opposition ‘LIB’ managed to get good collections. The talk is that among all Kammula films this one had weak content. But it is purely the Kammula brand which brought value to the openings, as per trade experts.

The second week has got all small budget films so it will be interesting to see how much threat they pose to ‘LIB’. ‘Shirdi Sai’ failed to get required collections in second week. The fight is between ‘Avunu’ ‘Vennela 1.5’ ‘Charulatha’. Whichever gets good talk will survive even after ‘Rebel’ arrives, rest will get wiped out.
