Bharatiya Janata Party national president Nitin Gadkari on Thursday said the Congress is a party of dacoits and thieves looting the country’s wealth left, right and centre.
Addressing a huge rally of National Democratic Alliance Maha Sangramam at the sprawling Nizam College grounds, the BJP president demanded resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his failure to check corruption. The Congress is a party of dacoits, looters and thieves who loot a village and run away. What will happen to poor if the Congress continues to loot this country, he asked and appealed to people to join hands with NDA to save democracy in the country.
Ridiculing the Prime Minister’s claim that he was not as guilty as being made out in the media, the BJP president said: Tell us how much guilty you are. Is it 50 per cent or 60 per cent? he asked. He wondered how Dr Singh was continuing as the Prime Minister when he did not know what his alliance partners or his officials were doing.
Veteran leader L K Advani and NDA leaders Prakash Singh Badal and Sharad Yadav also spoke at the meeting.
